From birth through to later life we experience several significant stages of physiological development and experience lifestyle factors that affect our health and well-being. Our nutritional requirements evolve; physical growth and development characterise our formative years, lifestyle factors (work, social life, relationships, children) characterise how we live and our health during our middle years and the ageing process characterises our health and well-being into later life. This presentation will explore our evolving nutritional requirements and take a look at current global food and drink products that are designed to help us meet our nutritional needs throughout all life stages.
